The ground paving of Yuanming Yuan, an imperial garden in ancient China, was traditionally made of bricks, tiles, or stone. It was designed to reflect the architectural and artistic styles of the Qing Dynasty, with intricate patterns and decorations. The garden's layout and paving were crucial in creating a harmonious and visually appealing environment. Unfortunately, much of Yuanming Yuan was destroyed during the Second Opium War in 1860, leaving only remnants of its original ground paving.
