The apartment is located in the 2nd district of Budapest, on the top floor of a 6-story  building from the 1970s.The owners love to cook, which naturally led to the kitchen area becoming the center of the apartment. For structural reasons (reinforced concrete walls) lighting had to be exposed, raised flooring had to be built and the main wall could not be moved, which in turn made it necessary to custom design and build most of the furniture (kitchen, bed, cupboards).
