The task was to deliver a way-finding system easy to use and to create more pleasant, friendly public space. Originally, the garage was pretty degraded due to its heavy usage and a number of interior “corrections”, but without any serious “face-lifting” since it was built.This is why the owners decided to go for a wide-range renovation, but with a pretty limited budget. So, we had to find an inexpensive, but effective solution. The idea was to “neutralize” the vast interior with a light gray and “highlight” the complex poles system in the variations of bright yellow colors (making a stunning visual effect). For an easier usability, the direction-signs were graphically divided into two target-groups - for pedestrians and the vehicles.
