He was about to re-position the "Platz" brand since the place is in the most elegant neighbourhood, next to the St. Stephens Cathedral in the heart of the city. I cleaned the typography a bit but saved the rough cardboard as the main material. The only playing with the letters was to cut them for the same shape as their neighbour. I was inspired by the old beer and wine bottles so the identity is based on these bottle and glass shapes.
