To contrast the intensely detailed LED patterns, we came up with a simple setup that created a whole new look altogether.We turned off the LEDs and filled the studio with fog, used studio lights with gels to create calming volumetric beams entering from outside the tunnel. The lights silhouetted the shape of the rigging and mirrors, calling attention to the tunnel’s structure. We used a combination of warm and cool colors, slowly panning them in and out of vision.
